Steady pulse for Heartland Group.

We’re a tad late on this one due to some other commitments, but by now many will be aware that Heartland Group completed a successful ASX launch on Thursday last week.

Given Heartland Bank has been happily trading in New Zealand for many years, there wasn’t a huge amount of risk with this one as share prices floated around the $1.40 ask, peaking at $1.52 on Friday.

Prices have since softened a touch, but for anyone looking to expose themselves to foreign market influences, this one is a fairly safe bet.

NB Global Income Trust maintains asking price at open.

Neuberger Berman’s latest offering, NB Global Corporate Income Trust (NBI), has come to market today as scheduled.

The diversified portfolio of high yield bonds of large, liquid global companies wasn’t a cheap prospect, commanding a healthy $2 per share during the IPO.

We often see the market initially shy away from some of the more expensive IPOs, but investor sentiment was positive today with prices trading a touch higher at $2.02 per share.

The current Scorecard will be updated shortly to include the new arrival.
